Widzowski Maupin, Oliver; Yale, Christopher; Ruzic, Brandon; Revelle, Melissa; McFarland, Brian; Landahl, Andrew; Clark, Susan; Burch, Ashlyn; Chow, Matthew; Colvin, Terra; Ibarra Garcia Padilla, Eduardo; Rascon, Alejandro; Love, Peter

This zipped folder contains simulation notebooks, simulated data, and experimental data from the QSCOUT trapped-ion device that were used in the publication "Solovay-Kitaev Algorithm and Randomized Compilation" (https://doi.org/10.1103/ll6m-dbl7).

The raw data is in the form of measurement outcomes of simple tomographic quantum circuits that were executed on the QSCOUT device and simulated using JAQALPAQ. These data are used to create plots within the jupyter notebooks that were included in the publication.

Supplemental material for paper "Radiosonde-to-Space (R2S) atmospheric specifications: Bridging observations and models for infrasound propagation"

20 MB

Schaible, Loring

This document describes the supplemental materials for the paper:
TITLE: "Radiosonde-to-Space (R2S) atmospheric specifications: Bridging observations and models for infrasound propagation"
   DOI: xxxxxxxxxxx
   JOURNAL: TBD

Written by Loring Schaible, September 17, 2025

This folder contains eight subfolders, each for a specific date and UTC time (in format YYYY-MM-DD_HH). All eight of these dates are exemplified and described in the manuscript. Within each folder is six documents. As an example, consider the folder "2022-12-31_00". The six files are comprised of:
   - Two text files (extension .txt) that describe the atmospheric specifications of Albuquerque, NM. One is the G2S model, the other is the R2S model.
"G2S_2022-12-31_00.txt"
"R2S_2022-12-31_00.txt"
   - Two text files (extension .dat) that contain the ground arrivals predicted by infraGA using the parameters described in the manuscript. One each for the two atmospheric specification models above, G2S and R2S.
"G2S_2022-12-31_00.arrivals.dat"
"R2S_2022-12-31_00.arrivals.dat"
   - Two image files (extension .png) that illustrate the predicted arrivals contained in the two files above. One image shows all arrivals as either black (G2S) or red (R2S). The other image shows the same but with arrivals common to both models in gray.
"2022-12-31_00_Arrivals.png"
"2022-12-31_00_DifArrivals.png"

2025 Annual INMM Graph and Tables for High Purity Germanium Detector Normalization Presentation

102 KB

Drumm, Natalie; Donart, Megan

The data set includes gamma spectroscopy peak data for measurements taken with two different high purity germanium detectors using a mixed nuclide source and a U-235 fuel rod. There are a total of 5 specific energy peaks that were analyzed for the mixed nuclide source stemming from Am-241, Cd-109, Cs-137, and Co-60. There are a total of 3 specific energy peaks that were analyzed for the U-235 fuel rod. The data set includes the calculations and results from using a linear  correction factor, absolute efficiency curve, and relative efficiency curve to compare the net peaks counts from two different detectors.

Photovoltaic Module Current-Voltage and Electroluminescence Image Data (PV-IV-EL)

2 GB

Braid, Jennifer; Byford, Brandon; Theristis, Marios; Robinson, Charles; Snyder, William; Santistevan, Kevin; Jost, Norman; King, Bruce

This dataset consists of 613 sets of corresponding current-voltage trace (IV) flash test data and electroluminescence (EL) image data for commercial PV modules from the Photovoltaic Systems Evaluation Laboratory at Sandia National Laboratories. PV modules are from fielded systems in Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA. Measurements of corresponding IV and EL data were taken over a 6 year period, with modules removed from the field and measured in the laboratory at 0 to 5 years of outdoor exposure. The 438 unique modules comprise 28 unique module models from 17 different brands, which are anonymized in the metadata. Additional metadata include current-voltage and electroluminescence acquisition parameters, and length of outdoor exposure.

For more metadata information see the AnonDB.csv file, which contains metadata for each module in the dataset, and provides information on each of the IV and EL measurements. Descriptions of each column in the AnonDB.csv file are listed under the "AnonDB Descriptions" resource linked below.

This project was funded under award "PV Proving Grounds" numbers 38268 and 52787.

Dataset for the paper titled "Investigating the relationship between bolide entry angle and apparent direction of infrasound signal arrivals"

123 MB

Herrera, Natalie

This dataset includes outputs generated for the journal publication titled: "Investigating the relationship between bolide entry angle and apparent direction of infrasound signal arrivals".

The outputs include .csv files with model-generated synthetic trajectories of asteroids entering Earth at a variety of impact and approach (azimuthal) angles. All outputs are based on hypothetical but realistic scenarios.

Decision Making Under Uncertainty Human Subjects Data - Fire Evacuation Task

79 MB

Matzen, Laura

This dataset contains de-identified data from human subjects experiments, along with the images and code that were used to run the experiments (as a crowdsourced online study). In this study, participants were shown the probability of a house being in the burn zone of a wildfire. They were asked if they would stay in the house or evacuate in that scenario. The probability information was presented in different ways, including text and maps. The studies tested the impact of different visual cues on the participants' patterns of decisions.

MARIAH PCAP data for Validation Demonstration

2 KB

Brown, Nathanael; Gearhart, Jared; Wilson, Amanda; Sahakian, Meghan

This dataset holds simulated PCAP (packet capture) data from the SCEPTRE validation demonstration model as a set of pairwise communications between devices via specific protocols. All connections should be assumed to be symmetric, as this data is an aggregation of the true PCAP. A mapping is also provided associating each IP address with its true device type.
