Solovay-Kitaev Algorithm and Randomized Compilation Data Availability

Total Size: 833 KB

This zipped folder contains simulation notebooks, simulated data, and experimental data from the QSCOUT trapped-ion device that were used in the publication "Solovay-Kitaev Algorithm and Randomized Compilation" (https://doi.org/10.1103/ll6m-dbl7).

The raw data is in the form of measurement outcomes of simple tomographic quantum circuits that were executed on the QSCOUT device and simulated using JAQALPAQ. These data are used to create plots within the jupyter notebooks that were included in the publication.

Fields

The simulated and experimental datasets within the folder are formatted as json files.

They are of the form {"synthesis_key" : {"noise_model_key" : {"synthesis_precision"-"sequence_index" : numpy array}}}

Where the 3D numpy array holds outcome probabilities and is formatted as: (coherent_noise_index, hamiltonian_term_index, state_index).

Sample Data Set

From QSCOUT_data/022/SKRC_experiment_data.json

{"Rz": [[0.765, 0.235], [0.931, 0.069], [0.479, 0.521]], "SK": {"6-16": [[0.737, 0.263], [0.93, 0.07], [0.478, 0.522]], "6-4": [[0.76, 0.24], [0.908, 0.092], [0.506, 0.494]], ...

Supplemental Information

The jupyter notebooks contain the software code to process the data. A readme.txt file is included in the folder.

Software Needed

The required python packages needed to run the notebooks are listed in the included requirements.txt file.
