Gallium nitride nanotube lasers

Lasing is demonstrated from gallium nitride nanotubes fabricated using a two-step topdown technique. By optically pumping, we observed characteristics of lasing: a clear threshold, a narrow spectral, and guided emission from the nanotubes.
