Operational and performance characteristics of the PCP PHEMTO-CHEM 100 ion mobility spectrometer
The PCP PHEMTO-CHEM 100 ion mobility spectrometer (IMS) exhibits a number of characteristics that affect its performance for the quanititative and qualitative analysis of explosives in solution and in the gas phase. These characteristics, as well as modifications to the system that will either eliminate, or reduce, the extent of some problems associated with these characteristics, are described.
