Sandia offers various fellowship opportunities to exceptional individuals in support of our national-security mission. We offer opportunities for fully funded graduate degrees as well as self-directed research.

Our master's fellowships support bachelor's-level candidates who wish to pursue technical graduate degrees. We first bring our master's fellows to Sandia where they join our multidisciplinary R&D teams and form mentoring relationships with top scientists and engineers. We then support our fellows in full-time graduate studies by providing tuition funds, stipends, and benefits. Finally, we welcome them back to Sandia as master's-level technical staff members and give them meaningful projects to help change the world.

Sandia also provides Ph.D.-level candidates with amazing postdoctoral fellowships. Our Truman Fellows can choose their research areas and are fully supported with state-of-the-art instruments, research mentoring, and generous salaries. We give our fellows professional-development opportunities and prepare them to conduct independent, groundbreaking research. 3. Browse the list of fellowship opportunities.
4. Complete an online application for a specific job opening.
