Biography

I am currently an employee of Sandia National Labs working as a software developer. I have a wide variety of experience in the computing field: I’ve spent time in academia, I’ve worked for many years as an intern at Sandia, and I’ve worked as a full-time developer at Sandia on multiple teams. I have experience in everything from DevOps to scientific computing.

Currently working as member of the new 1424 software engineering dept, with most of my time being funded by E3SM (climate). My E3SM work is split between SE support, development of ESMCI/CIME (shared climate infrastructure with NCAR), and SCREAM (high resolution, cloud resolving model using C++/Kokkos).

Education

  • University of New Mexico, Student in the Computer Science PhD Program, 2006-2007
  • University of New Mexico, Masters program, graduated 2006
  • University of Texas at Austin, Undergraduate, graduated 2003
