Biography
I’m a staff member in Organization 1425, working in the field of quantum information and quantum computing. Current work of mine focuses predominately on optimizing tomography of quantum information processors, using a framework developed here at Sandia known as gate set tomography. I also study quantum algorithms, in an effort to both discover new algorithms and to compile existing algorithms for specific architectures.
Other interests of mine include applications of compressed sensing for quantum information processing, quantum algorithms for the graph isomorphism problem, quantum random walks, and distributed computing systems.
Education
- PhD in Physics, August 2014, University of Wisconsin-Madison
- BA in Physics, June 2008, University of Chicago
