October 8, 2025 | The CMC welcomed Robert Peters for a presentation of his recent publication, “The Case for Redeploying Non-Strategic Weapons to South Korea.” Peters outlined regional threats, his thoughts on enhancing the credibility of U.S. deterrence, and arguments against deploying non-strategic weapons to Korea. Robert is a Senior Research Fellow for Strategic Deterrence in the Heritage Foundation’s Allison Center for National Security.
