Study Group on Materials Testing and Qualification for Hydrogen Service

The Study Group (SG) is an annual community-driven event organized by the Hydrogen Effects on Materials Laboratory. The SG is a day-long meeting formulated around current issues and topics of materials testing and qualification for hydrogen service with a focus on research and development. The SG has met annually since 2014, usually on the Friday at the end of the ASME Pressure Vessel and Piping Conference. The meeting is free-of-charge and open to researchers and engineers interested in contributing or just learning about materials performance in gaseous hydrogen environments.
