This is mainly a bug fix release. Several buffer overflows have been fixed, as well as a bug that resulted in a segfault when attempting to save an old-type model file in a new-type format. The random pdu uncertainty flag ∑as also erroneously set to True in the pdu202009Du.geotess. This has been corrected, and it is now set to False by default.
Significant backend work has been done towards the goal of making RSTT thread-safe with a parallelizable getTravelTime() method. This includes getters for a variety of class members, and a large amount of new copy constructors. This work is ongoing.
Makefiles have been additionally been overhauled, and this version should compile correctly on Intel and ARM Macs, RHEL 8 and 9, Ubuntu 24.04 LTS, and WSL equivalents with both Clang and GNU compilers.
