Due to a power outage on Kirtland Air Force Base, Sandia’s Albuquerque, NM, site will be closed Friday, March 15, 2024.
Although the power outage is not directly impacting on-base Sandia facilities, infrastructure, or networks, KAFB is being significantly impacted, and access is limited to essential personnel only. If access to the base is necessary, coordinate with your manager and emergency management at 505-844-0311.
This does not apply to off-base Sandia facilities.
