Due to a power outage on Kirtland Air force Base, Sandia’s Albuquerque, NM site will be closed today March 15, 2024 for all non-mission essential personnel. Do not come to work unless necessary and approved by your manager. If access to the base is necessary for critical infrastructure work, coordinate with emergency management by calling 505-844-0311.

Those who are scheduled to or can telework should do so.

Time Charging:
- Charge TRC-270 for any work time you missed due to the closure.
- Do not use the inclement weather TRC-270 if you meet one of the following:
- You were scheduled to be off.
- You came to work and worked your normal schedule, as approved by your manager.
- You have the ability to telework based on work arrangements made with your manager.
By contract, staff augmentation contract associates who are affected may not bill projects or tasks for hours not worked.
