Inclement weather 3 p.m. early release at Sandia’s Albuquerque, NM, site

Due to inclement weather at the Albuquerque, NM, site, Sandia is releasing all on-site members of the workforce at 3 p.m. today, Thursday, Jan. 4. Expect delays, use extreme caution when driving and be patient when leaving the labs, as all workforce members are being released simultaneously. Remember, weather and road conditions can vary by geographical location and can change rapidly.

Those who are scheduled or can telework should do so.

Updated information will be posted as needed through the following as it becomes available:

Leave your work areas safe, as they might be unattended for a few days. Personnel releasing early, and shift workers arriving late, follow any contingency plans you might have for these circumstances, including any telecommuting work arrangements made with your manager.

Time Charging:

  • Charge TRC-270 for any work time you missed due to the early release.
  • Do not use the inclement weather TRC-270 if you meet one of the following:
    • You were scheduled to be off.
    • You came to work and worked your normal schedule, as approved by your manager.
    • You have the ability to telework based on work arrangements made with your manager.

By contract, staff augmentation contract associates who are affected may not bill projects or tasks for hours not worked.
