It’s a Family Affair

Sandia employees, Angela Salas and Johanna Anez, and their mother, Lucille Salas, volunteered during the holidays for the Festival of Trees fundraiser that benefitted Carrie Tingley Hospital patients and their families.

Sandians celebrate donation to United Way
Sandia employees and retirees are generous, contributing $1.8 million a year to support the work of the United Way of Central New Mexico and $2.5 million a year to other to nonprofits in New Mexico, California and the nation.
Sandians prepare backpacks for donation
Children need school supplies to do well. Employees in New Mexico donate school supplies to several local districts, while employees in California donate complete backpacks to military dependents from Travis Air Force Base.
Sandians volunteer at Habitat for Humanity
In partnership with Greater Albuquerque Habitat for Humanity, Sandia employees and retirees have built 15 homes for deserving families. Sandians also participate in 10 Sandia Serves Saturdays each year.
