Abilities Champions of New Mexico volunteer at Mandy’s Farm

This summer, Abilities Champions of New Mexico partnered with Community Involvement to volunteer at Mandy’s Farm. The groups assisted with daily tasks like landscaping, animal care, gardening, organization and barn work. Mandy’s Farm helps individuals with developmental disabilities achieve their goals by facilitating an environment for them to learn and work.
HELPING HANDS — A group of Sandians from the Abilities Champions of New Mexico and Community Involvement spent the day at Mandy’s Farm.
PACK LEADER — A goat leads Sandia volunteers to their work at Mandy’s Farm, an organization that offers residential services, educational and therapeutic day services and employment to individuals with developmental disabilities.
FARM DAYS — Sandian volunteers enjoyed hanging out with and caring for alpacas and goats at the farm.
