CCR researcher Christian Trott has been recognized by insideHPC as one of the “Vanguards of HPC-AI.” The insideHPC Vanguards series is intended to spotlight emerging thought leaders and innovators in the HPC-AI and recognize “…exceptional contributors to the world of HPC-AI (who) are helping blaze new trails, drive change and take on significant leadership positions.” Christian is best known for leadership of the Kokkos programming model that provides performance portability for C++ across a wide range of computing hardware.
