Registration Process

Team Registration (Captains)

Team captains will register their team to play by following the instructions below.

  1. Determine your roster paying attention to the new player eligibility requirements.
    • If your team is short on players, contact Debra Blackerby (JCC Membership Director), Brianna Smith (JCC), and John Clark (SVBA Vice President), so that we can work with you to find team members that match your team’s skill level.
  2. Fill out the team registration form which will provide the JCC, SERP office, and SVBA officers with your initial team information.
  3. Approximately 24 hours after you submit the team registration form, verify that your team has been added to the league registration page of the JCC website and is ready for player registration.
  4. Ensure your core six and any alternate players register with, and make payment to, the JCC by August 12th. Ensure SERP subsidized participants also complete the SERP waiver.

Player Registration (Everyone)

Captains, core players, non-core alternates, and free agent players must register with the JCC to sign the facility waiver. Core players will make payment during their JCC registration.

SERP Subsidized Players

Sandia employees, their spouses, and dependents are eligible for a subsidy from the Sandia Employee Recreation Program to partially offset their SVBA registration costs.

  • Register with the JCC (see above) and select the subsidized SERP player registration rate before making your payment.
    • NOTE: Only one subsidy may be claimed per player per season so pay the full unsubsidized fee if you register for a second team.
  • Register on the SERP website for the appropriate team.
  • All players under age 18 must have a current, signed, minor-specific PDF waiver on file with SERP. Parents must email serp@sandia.gov for a current waiver and SERP will register all minor players.

Free Agents

If you don’t have a team, please register with the JCC (see above) under the team name FREE AGENTS. If you are later added to a team as a core player you will need to register and pay for that additional team.
