About the Rodeo

Expert operators from Bomb Squads and other public safety organizations use advanced skills to maneuver Hazardous Duty Robots in challenging, real-world scenarios. In partnership, Los Alamos National Labs and Sandia National Labs are conducting the 8th Annual Western National Robot Rodeo in cooperation with the International Association of Bomb Technicians and Investigators (IABTI) Region II.

  • DHS Critical Infrastructures

    • Power and Distribution

  • Transportation - Planes, Trains, and Automobiles
  • Obstacle Course and Operator Profeciency

Logistics

Please click on the registration link to the left of the screen for your team and all of the members of your team that will be in attendance. If there are any special requests or special dieatary needs, please fill out the form as completley as possible.

Activities will take place both indoors and outdoors. Hats, sunglasses, gloves, and appropriate clothing for very warm weather are suggested. Participants should wear comfortable and casual clothing and must wear covered shoes (no sandals or open-toe shoes; tennis shoes are acceptable).
