As one of the core NNSA Nuclear Laboratories, Sandia National Laboratories makes significant use of nuclear data as it delivers essential science and technology focused on resolving challenging national security issues. Because of the critical support role played by nuclear data in our mission, we actively promote essential research in this area and have established a network of external collaborations with universities, other laboratories, and industry. To help coordinate our nuclear data initiatives and to better communicate with our external partners, Sandia has established an SNL Nuclear Data Working Group (NDWG).
This webpage provides contact details and information on the core members of the SNL NDWG. A description of recent Sandia-supported nuclear-data activities is also presented along with links to peer-reviewed publications in the area. We actively seek to expand the scope of our nuclear-data related collaborations and are open to collaborative research activities in this area.
