Noelle Camp is a Consultant with Camp Research & Consulting, LLC, where she advises clients on topics including nuclear security, export controls, research security, and sanctions enforcement and serves as a subject matter expert for international workshops. Noelle previously served as a Member of the Technical Staff in the Center for Global Security and Cooperation at Sandia National Laboratories. As the East Asia Lead for Sandia’s Cooperative Monitoring Center (CMC), Noelle advances the CMC’s regional strategy through facilitating speakers and engagements that promoted science-driven collaboration in the region.

Selected as a 2020 Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) Project on Nuclear Issues Scholar, Noelle’s research interests include nuclear security and East Asia studies. Her research on the human element of nuclear security has been presented at international conferences and featured in SN Computer Science. Noelle has worked and studied extensively in China, including with the Press Office of the U.S. Embassy Beijing, and is proficient in Mandarin at an “Advanced Low” skill level (OPI, 2018).

She holds a master’s degree in International Affairs from the Texas A&M Bush School of Government and Public Service, a bachelor’s degree in Global Politics from Washington and Lee University, and a Certificate in Data Analytics from Cornell University. She is a certified Insider Threat Program Manager from the CERT Division at Carnegie Mellon University and is certified in Radioactive Source Security Management from the World Institute of Nuclear Security (WINS). Noelle is based in the United Kingdom.
