ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Sandia National Laboratories has declared an operational emergency after Hurricane Lowell passed over its Kauai Test Facility in Hawaii.
All Kauai Test Facility personnel have been accounted for.
Personnel are traveling to the facility to assess site conditions. Early images indicate significant damage. Sandia has activated its Emergency Operations Center to monitor conditions and coordinate the response.
