Sandia National Laboratories is working with the University of Maidiguri to develop low cost, locally made, sustainable, safe and secure packaging for the transport of infectious substances in Nigeria. These packages will be able to be constructed from materials that are readily available in Nigerian markets. Package designs will be tested to meet international standards for infectious substance packaging. Instructions and details of how to assemble these packages will be distributed to all participants of this survey.
