Technology, Training, and Demonstration Area Lead

Jason Bolles leads technical demonstration efforts for the Global Security and Cooperation Center’s CMC at Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

In 2022, Jason assumed full responsibility for managing the CMC’s Technology Training and Demonstration (TTD) area—a presentation and demonstration venue focused on Sandia’s technical support for arms treaty verification and security of chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and explosive materials. He leads the design and development of new technology demonstration stations, manages day-to-day TTD operations, and briefs visitors on Sandia’s work in the fields of nonproliferation, physical protection, arms control, and regional security.

Before joining the CMC team, Jason supported Sandia’s Global Security efforts as a visual designer and animator. He designed, developed, and created technical illustrations, artistic conceptualizations, data visualizations, and interactive digital products for technical staff and sponsors. Jason also served in the United States Air Force, where he supervised tactical teams charged with protecting some of our nation’s highest-consequence assets. Jason holds an A.A.S. in Computer Animation Technology from the Community College of New Mexico, a B.A. in Fine Arts from the University of New Mexico, an M.A. in Management and Leadership from Webster University, and a graduate certificate in National Security Studies from the University of New Haven.
