
Chris Cutrone is a Senior Member of the Technical Staff in the Regional Security and Analysis group at the Center for Global Security and Cooperation (CGSC). He works on the academic research and due diligence portfolio which focuses on countering malign influence in international research environments. Additionally, Chris is a European regional specialist with expertise in the affairs of NATO and the European Union, and he is currently Regional Lead for Eurasia at the Cooperative Monitoring Center (CMC).
He has worked and studied extensively in Great Britain, the Baltic States, and Eastern Europe. Previously, Chris worked as a Project Manager at the Texas A&M University System Research Security Office. There he worked with a team of academic and private sector partners to develop a research security training program for the National Science Foundation on disclosure requirements for the US federal research enterprise.
Chris is a graduate of the Bush School of Government and Public Service at Texas A&M University where he received a Master of International Affairs and a graduate Certificate in Advanced International Affairs. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications with a minor in Political Science from Quinnipiac University. A seasoned public affairs professional, he has over 20 years of experience working in advisory roles for elected officials and government agencies.
