Course Goal
The goal of the Security Culture course is to increase awareness of threats to radiological security and
consequences of ineffective security culture.
Group Size and Target Audience
The preferred class size is between 20-30 participants. The course is intended for competent regulators, operators, responders, and nuclear security personnel responsible for maintaining a security culture at their various sites.
Prerequisites
There are no prerequisites for this course.
Structure
The course is comprised of modules that are delivered using lecture, discussion, and activities. Participants enjoy real stories of security culture to relate to course material or reflect on their own experience. The final exercise is a virtual tabletop that requires participants to use all the skills and
knowledge learned during the course.
Security Culture is a 2-day workshop, with each day consisting of approximately 7-8 hours.
