The Fluid/Thermal Component Science group in Sandia’s Engineering Science center is looking for a new manager. This group participates in a broad range of high-fidelity simulation utilizing Sandia’s unique high-performance computing capabilities. They perform fundamental and applied research in areas such as discrete methods for rarified effects and plasmas, coupled-physics models for thermal protection systems and battery research, and mesoscale methods for material property predictions. This is a great group and an exciting opportunity.
