Sandia National Labs and Kirtland Airforce Base Access
If you have not visited SNL in the last six months or have a new HSPD-12 badge, please visit the badge office to register your PIN. There is no need to submit collateral clearances.
In addition to the SNL badge, visitors must obtain a DBIDS card for access to KAFB. Please visit one of the DBIBS offices with your HSPD-12 Badge to obtain your DBIDS card.
If you have any of the following documents, they may be used in place of DBIDS for KAFB access.
- DoD Common Access Card (CAC) – all versions
- DoD Guard and Reserve Dependent Identification Card
- DoD Uniformed Services Identification and Privilege Card
- DoD Military Identification Card
- Department of the Army Civilian Identification Card
- Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC)

For the Truman Visitor Center, stay in the right lane, and exit prior to the gate. You will see a sign for Visitor Center. You can register your credential for DBIDS inside.

- Eubank: 24/7 inbound/outbound
- Truman: 24/7 inbound/outbound with Visitor Control Center
- Gibson: 5:30am-7:30pm inbound/outbound
- Wyoming: Weekdays: 5:30am-9:30am inbound/outbound; 3:30pm-5:30pm outbound only
- Carlisle: Weekdays: 5:30am-9:30am inbound/outbound; 3:30pm-5:30pm outbound only
