Electric Power Market Design Study
Design a wholesale electric power market for a composite energy product that includes energy and ancillary/reliability services. Multiple resources, including electric energy storage (EES) resources, should be permitted to provide these services with proper recovery of a revenue stream for services provided, without bias. This market design should:
- support a business case for EES
- have broad applicability across several ISOs
- be implementable in one ISO
