Understanding the Installed Cost and Performance of Energy Storage Technologies
The landscape for grid energy storage solutions is ripe with options. Making informed purchases is challenging without a complete picture of how much these technologies truly cost to install and how they perform. As part of U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Energy Storage Grand Challenge, Pacific Northwest National Laboratory developed an easily accessible framework for understanding the total installed cost of energy storage systems.
In this webinar grid energy storage experts at PNNL will introduce the 2020 Grid Energy Storage Cost & Performance Assessment and accompanying website along with some of its major findings. You will learn how they calculated the full lifecycle costs of each technology and the metrics they used to measure their performance.
