On behalf of the DOE Office of Electricity Delivery and Energy Reliability Energy Storage Systems Program, Pacific Northwest National Laboratory will host the Energy Storage Systems Safety & Reliability Forum 2018 March 28-29 at the Edgewater Hotel in Seattle, WA. Forum participants will learn about the current state of energy storage safety and reliability and will help identify additional R&D efforts that further advance the current DOE roadmap for energy storage. Presentations from safety and reliability experts, energy storage and power electronic providers, utilities, integrators, testing and certification labs, and academia will be given to help frame the discussion.
