Sandia National Laboratories hosts a roundtable discussion between Turkish and American experts about the Future of Small Modular Reactors (SMRs) in Turkey. They discuss SMRs’ implications for Turkey’s energy independence, climate change mitigation, and safety, security, and nonproliferation. Turkish experts include Dr. Şule Ergün of Hacettepe University, Prof. Dr. Üner Çolak of Istanbul Technical University, and Dr. Senem Şentürk Lüle of Istanbul Technical University. American experts include Adam Williams and Alan Evans from Sandia National Laboratories and Nick Roth who at the time of the event was director of the National Security Program at the Stimson Center.
