Center for Global Security and Cooperation

The Cooperative Monitoring Center (CMC) is housed within the Center for Global Security and Cooperation (CGSC) in Albuquerque, New Mexico. CGSC houses several well-appointed conference rooms, office space, a specialized library for visiting scholars, and a business center.

Access to KAFB is not required to reach the CGSC. If you require access to KAFB or Sandia National Laboratories, please coordinate your visit in advance with your visit sponsor. Note that foreign nationals are not allowed to visit Sandia or enter KAFB without prior approval, which may take weeks or months to obtain.

Technology Training and Demonstration Area

Sandia’s Technology Training and Demonstration Area (TTD) showcases technologies that can be cooperatively applied to a range of monitoring applications across the globe:

  • Nonproliferation
  • Arms control
  • Physical protection
  • Health security
  • Regional security

The TTD is regularly employed to engage with government officials, academic colleagues, and industry partners via training and demonstration effort, and as a space for testing certain technologies in an open environment.
