An opening night welcome keynote session brought together four subject matter experts from ERCOT, Southern California Edison, Sandia National Laboratories and GDS Associates to debate the challenges associated with the transformation of the grid.  Five technical sessions offering 21 papers and 9 posters plus six panel discussions highlighted the conference.
