HMTech is an educational supplement that inspires young minds through engineering and scientific experiences. The program targets middle and high school students.

In 1986, a group of employees started an after-school program to inspire students to pursue careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. Ten years later the program became a summer program sponsored by Sandia National Laboratories. HMTech has been inspiring young minds for over 40 years!

The HMTech program is sponsored by Sandia National Laboratories Community Involvement.

Students who will be entering grades 6 through 12 are eligible to participate in the HMTech program.

The 2026 HMTech Program will be held in person at Del Norte High School on June 6, 13, and 27.

Attending all Saturdays is strongly encouraged, however, you can still enroll if you know you are going to miss a Saturday.

Registration is on a first come, first serve basis. Go to the Registration page to find out how to register.
