Description

The curing foam extent source term (S) is defined as:

S = C A_1 \exp \left( \frac{-E_1}{R T} \right) \left( K_1 + K_2 \xi^m \right) \left( 1 - \xi \right)^n \left(1 + W f \right)^{-\beta}

where \xi is the extent of reaction (the current species the source is applied to), and f is the polymerization shift factor.

The optional smoothing coefficient, C is defined as:

C = \frac{1}{2} \left( 1 + \tanh \left( a \left( \frac{2(T-T_a)}{T_{buff}} - 1 \right)\right)\right)

The smoothing coefficient (C) is set to 1 if a, T_a, or T_{buff} are not provided.
