Enable the Hausen entrance effect correction factor for pipe and annular flow correlation heat transfer coefficients (Types 23, 25, 72-74).
- Description
Applies a correction factor of the form
to the heat transfer coefficient where
is the hydraulic diameter and
is the distance from the pipe or annulus entrance to the point the flux is applied. By default the maximum value of the correction is 10, it can optionally be set using the MaxCorrection parameter in this command line. For
the correction factor is not applied. This correction factor may only be applied when the correlation is being used with an advective bar model to represent the fluid flow.
