It is my pleasure to welcome you to SOS7 on behalf of Sandia’s Computer Science Research Institute (CSRI), which is the sponsor of this event. CSRI’s purpose is to foster collaboration with universities and research institutions in the general areas of Computer Science. We invite faculty and students to spend time in Sandia collaborating with our Sandia researchers. The proposal process is extremely simple. We have a number of faculty spending part or all of their sabbatical at CSRI. In summers, we attract nearly 100 students.
