Leslie Hart is a computer scientist with NOAA Research’s Forecast Systems Laboratory (FSL). FSL’s role within NOAA is to examine new technology and refine it for use by operational entities such as the National Weather Service. Leslie has a BS in Computing Science from Texas A & M University and an MS in Applied Mathematics from the University of Colorado, Denver. He has been with FSL for 11 years. Prior to that he held positions with Lockheed Research and Development and with a contractor at NASA Ames Research Center.
