Peregrine Libraries

Microelectroporation RNAi Device

RNA interference (RNAi) is a powerful tool for functional genomics with the capacity to comprehensively analyze host-pathogen interactions. High-throughput RNAi screening is used to systematically perturb cellular pathways and discover therapeutic targets, but the method can be tedious 10 and requires extensive capital equipment and expensive reagents. To aid in the development of an inexpensive miniaturized RNAi screening platform, we have developed a two-part microfluidic system for patterning and screening gene targets on-chip to examine cellular pathways involved in virus entry and infection.

ANOMLE

ANOMLE helps bridge the gap between mathematical models and computational solvers by providing three major areas of functionality: 1) a concise, understandable formulation syntax that expresses linear optimization models within the .NET language; 2) a solver-agnostic interface that interacts with any 3rd-party optimization solver, and; 3) a remote solver capability that allows models to be created in one process and solved in another (enabling, for example, distributed optimization from within a local application).

Sandia SPT is intended to provide an easy to use single particle tracking implementation, including source code for all the required steps (spot detection, localization, and linking observations).

Sandia Hyper-UBS is designed to remove cosmic ray spikes from hyperspectral data sets. This software was based upon the UBS-DM algorithm by D.M. Zhang and D. Ben-Amotz. The UBS-DM-HS algorithm is designed to be more robust and is better at removing cosmic ray spikes which impact multiple pixels.

Sandia Non-Design Coverslip Strehl Calculator

While sometimes the use of non-design coverslips for microscopy is unavoidable, doing so introduces aberrations which can severely reduce the quality of image formation as measured by the Strehl ratio or ensquared energy. This software is designed to calculate the effect of non-design materials upon the Strehl ratio or ensquared energy using the Gibson-Lanni point spread function (PSF) model.
