You will spend your first day in a new-hire orientation meeting, which is required prior to starting work at Sandia. If you have questions about your employment, please contact the HR representative listed in your offer letter.
2. Obtain your badge.
Report to the Sandia Visitor Badge Office located at 7011 East Avenue in Livermore, which can only be accessed via Sandia’s Greenville Road Main Entrance, by 7:15 a.m. View maps and directions to the badge office.
Sandia’s Visitor Badge Office is not accessible via public transportation. Please take a taxi or make other arrangements for transportation. If you plan to travel to the badge office by bike, download a map that shows our walking/bike paths (PDF, 222 kB).
After completing the badging process, security personnel will instruct you on how to get to new employee orientation located in Building 915, Room W133.
3. Attend the new employee orientation.
On the morning of your first day at Sandia, you will be attending a 2-hour new employee orientation. At this meeting, we will collect your new-hire paperwork; verify your eligibilty of employment; benefits and other helpful information. Following the orientation you will be met by a designated contact.
