Aditya Dhumuntarao
Postdoctoral Appointee, Quantum Information Science
Biography
Aditya joined Sandia as a postdoctoral appointee at the Quantum Performance Laboratory (QPL) in 2023. His research interests lie at the intersections of quantum information theory, and theoretical physics. At Sandia, Aditya draws inspiration from his physics background in holographic dualities, entanglement dynamics, and classical field theories to shed light on quantum information processors and quantum computers. At the QPL, Aditya is engaged in developing more efficient forward simulators using path integral methods and in constructing novel benchmarks applicable to near-term quantum devices. With members at the Quantum Applications and Algorithms Collaboratory, Aditya is working on the foundations of qubit holographies.
