Microsystems Engineering, Science and Applications (MESA)
The MESA MicroFab is a multi-user, high work-mix, advanced materials fabrication facility at Sandia National Laboratories. The MicroFab hosts a breadth of microelectronics activities, from low-TRL investigative R&D to high rigor production for the NNSA Nuclear Deterrence mission. An exceptional team of engineers and technologists provides a broad base of established capabilities for silicon and compound semiconductor processing, as well as deep experience with specialized process development. The MicroFab partners closely with the MESA Silicon Fab production facility and numerous additional capabilities across Sandia, to advance projects across all Mission Project Portfolios.
