Military Academic Collaboration (MAC) Program

Sandia National Laboratories encourages qualified United States Service Academy Cadets and Midshipmen to further develop their interests in critical areas related to our mission space. The Labs offer more than 35 project areas spanning various disciplines and skill sets, so each cadet can find a suitable match.

Project opportunities will be available at Sandia’s NM and CA locations.

Requirements include:

• Must be U.S. Citizen
• Must currently hold a DoD Secret (or higher) clearance
• Must be available a minimum of 4 consecutive weeks
• Must be currently enrolled at the U.S. Air Force Academy, U.S. Coast Guard Academy, U.S. Military Academy, U.S. Naval Academy, or U.S. Merchant Marines Academy
• Ideal candidates are entering 3rd or 4th year
