What you need to know
At times, Sandia needs to bring additional people into our workforce to meet specific business needs or niche skills (for example, project management) for a short period of time (up to three years).
Sandia provides several resources assess your workforce needs and find fast and cost-effective support.
Staff Augmentation
Sandia works with a specific supplier to augment our workforce with contract associates who can perform non-vital, noncore work.
Staff augmentation contractors perform work onsite at Sandia, and we retain full authority and responsibility for their work.

Contractors
Engaging a contractor for support may also be an option, for example when Sandia requires highly specialized skills that cannot be met through our staff augmentation supplier.
