Landmark Musicals Presents: Rodgers & Hammerstein’s The King and I
The King and I Musical is the quintessential classic musical written by composer Richard Rodgers and dramatist & lyricist Oscar Hammerstein II.
It is based on Margaret Landon’s novel, Anna and the King of Siam, which borrows from the memoirs of Anna Leonowens, governess to the children of King Monkut of Siam in the early 1860s.
This intriguing story of the King of Siam, and the teacher he brings halfway around the world to teach his children is funny, poignant and heartwarming. With breathtaking sets, costumes and lighting, this is the perfect show for families to experience together both onstage and in the audience.
Show Dates: Nov. 22-24 and Nov. 29-Dec. 1. Fridays and Saturdays at 7 p.m.; Sundays at 2 p.m.

Landmark Musicals Presents: The Sound of Music
Now celebrating its sixtieth anniversary, The Sound of Music, the final collaboration between Rodgers and Hammerstein, was destined to become the world’s most beloved musical.
Featuring a trove of cherished songs, including “Climb Ev’ry Mountain,” “My Favorite Things,” “Do-Re-Mi,” “Sixteen Going on Seventeen,” and the title number, The Sound of Music won the hearts of audiences worldwide, earning five Tony Awards and five Oscars.
The inspirational story set during World War II, based on the memoir of Maria Augusta Trapp, follows an ebullient postulant who serves as governess to the seven children of the imperious Captain von Trapp, bringing music and joy to the household. However, as forces take hold of Austria, Maria and the entire von Trapp family must make a moral decision.
