13.8. H. Other Scripts Maintained by Development Team

In addition to the large Sierra executables the Sierra/SM development team also maintains several pre- and post-processing scripts that can be helpful for analyst use. These scripts are installed with the Sierra tools in the directory contrib/testTools/adagio/. Many of the scripts in this directory are used for regression test utilities and not intended for general use. The scripts that are tested for general use are as follows:

• cth_tracers.py a utility for mapping pressures from a CTH analysis onto a solid mechanics analysis.

• material_fitting.py a utility to aid fitting of elastic plastic material constants from test data.

• rotateModel.py a utility to rotate an exodus results file along with all of its data output fields.

• spheregen.py a utility to convert a solid element model into spheres for use with particle element formulations.

• wedgeTo3d.py a utility to translate the mesh and results from an axisymmetric wedge model into a full 3D model.
