Banded wavelength emissivity.

Description

Computes emissivity as a sum over wavelength bands. This requires a ‘banded wavelength model’ block defined elsewhere which defines the band wavelengths and is referenced here using the ‘WAVELENGTH_BAND_MODEL’ argument. Emissivities of each band in the selected model ( $\varepsilon_i$ ) must be provided as ‘E0’, ‘E1’, etc…

$\varepsilon = \sum_i F_i \varepsilon_i$

where the band fraction, $F_i$ is calculated from the band start and end wavelengths ( $\lambda_{i,s}$ and $\lambda_{i,e}$ ) black body fraction ( $B$ ) as

$F_i = B(\lambda_{i,e}T) - B(\lambda_{i,s})$
