Description: $k_ij = \frac{ \sum_{s \in \text{species}} \left[\text{clip}(Y_s) k_{ij,s} \right]}{\sum_{s \in \text{species}} \text{clip}(Y_s)}$

where $Y_s$ is the mass fraction of species $s$ , $k_{ij, s}$ the ij component of the conductivity of species s and the $\text{clip}()$ function clips values to the bounds [0, 1].
