7.6.8.3.7. Mass_Diffusion_Energy_Transport

Syntax

Heat Conduction [{of} SpeciesName] = Mass_Diffusion_Energy_Transport

Scope

Aria Material

Summary

Mass diffusion model for energy transport

Description

Heat conduction is calculated as

{\bf{q}} = \rho_g D (h_{water(g)} \nabla Y_{water(g)} + h_{air(g)} \nabla Y_{air(g)})

where \rho_g is the gas phase density, Y is the mass fraction, D is the mass diffusivity and h is the specific enthalpy. The subscripts air(g) and water(g) represent air and water in the gas phase.
