Richard works on HP’s server platforms with an eye towards making them as effective as possible for high performance computing. Past jobs include technical director for high performance technical computing at DEC and Compaq, and manager of C/C++ compilers at DEC. He snuck out of U.C. San Diego with a B.A. in computer science, where he was a member of the UCSD Pascal Project.
